Corporate Services responsibilities include:
- Working within a continuously evolving environment
- Spearheading the delivery of the Council's Corporate Plan.
- Facilitate and manage an evolving capital portfolio.
- Manage and provide for an increasing staff compliment.
- Apply all legislative responsibilities.
- Identify staff and member development.
- Ensure effective financial control Support partnership and public consultation.
- Oversee efficient and effective service delivery Corporate Services Department.
The Department provides financial, personnel and Information Technology services to the Council's main spending departments. The overall annual budget of the Council exceeds £8.5 million, and there are around 250 permanent staff on the payroll.
