Stamp your Way to a Warmer Home

Cookstown Fuel Stamp Scheme helps householders who use oil central heating to budget and save effectively by spreading the cost of their home heating fuel.

HOW TO USE

Saving Your Stamps

Collect a Fuel stamp savings card from any participating retailer
Complete the Name and Address section as soon as you receive your card. You should use the address the home heating fuel will be delivered to.
Purchase a £5 fuel savings stamp or stamps from any participating retailer located across the district
Place your fuel savings stamp onto your fuel savings card in the spaces numbered.

Purchasing Your Oil

When you wish to purchase home heating fuel, contact your preferred participating supplier and let them know the amount of home heating fuel you require and the value of stamps you have saved.
A card, or a number of cards, can be used as payment towards your home heating fuel. Partly completed cards will be accepted.
It is your responsibility to agree, with your chosen fuel supplier, the price, delivery amount and payment method.

Cookstown District Council also acts as a referral agent to the many grant and cash back schemes available such as the Warm Homes and Warmer Ways to Better Health schemes. These are criteria based schemes for private home owners/tenants, offering heating and insulation measures for the home.
