Cookstown District Council
Goes RED to Support National Heart Month
Staff from Cookstown District Council were helping to save lives by supporting British Heart Foundation (BHF) Northern Ireland’s Red for Heart campaign in February 2011.
Officers at Cookstown District Council wore red to work and raised £141.90 in the process. The healthier option coffee morning also helped to promote a healthier lifestyle amongst Council employees. The event was in support of BHF Northern Ireland’s Red for Heart campaign for Heart Month in February to help fight Northern Ireland’s biggest killer - heart and circulatory disease.
