Ballyronan Marina & Caravan Park

Ballyronan Marina & Caravan Park is sited within the village of Ballyronan on the shores of Lough Neagh, approximately 12 miles from Cookstown. The Marina facility is open from dawn to dusk, seven days per week, April - September. To compliment the facilities there is also a special Woodland Nature Trail 'Ballyronan Wood' which through specific pathways, view points and information signage highlights the natural beauty of the area. The local Development Association in conjunction with the Council runs a new Community Centre, which includes a function hall, offices, café, retail/work units and public toilets and changing rooms.

| Woodland Walks - the 1.2km walk through a small 5 acre wet woodland boasts a wealth of wildlife easily viewed from the path such as mute swan, whooper swan, bewick swan, great chested grebes and tufted duck |
Lough Neagh Rescue Raft Race - The first ever Lough Neagh Rescue Raft Race takes place on Saturday 6th March 2010 at Ballyronan Marina from 12noon - 5pm. This fun filled day is open to everyone and will include a local Food & Craft fair, Entertainment, BBQ & of course the main Raft Race Event, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. |
These facilities are managed by Moneymore Recreation Centre.
