Moneymore Recreation Centre

This complex, the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, opened to the public in January 2007. Moneymore Recreation Centre is available for use by all local schools at no cost during term time and for community use in the evenings and weekends.

With assistance from the Cookstown District Council Sports Development Department and the Southern Education and Library Board local children are benefiting from coaching sessions in gymnastics, basketball, multi-skills and soccer thus increasing local interest, awareness and usage.

The Centre provides schemes and programmes for children therefore this is a much sought after venue for end of term schemes & programmes. The centre also facilitates for sporting tournaments and birthday parties, etc.
