Bulky Household/Electrical Goods Collection
Cookstown District Council provides a free bulky household and electrical goods collection for householders within the Cookstown District. The items that may be collected are those which are too large/difficult to take to a Civic Amenity Site.
Household items that can be collected:
Cookers Fridges/fridge freezers
Dishwashers Suites of furniture
Tables Chairs
Bed frames Mattresses (must be covered in plastic)
Please note all items must be left outside for collection. Council staff are not permitted to enter premises to collect such items.
Requests can be made via telephone or by using the online form below which should be e-mailed to opservices@cookstown.gov.uk.
Unfortunately the Council can NOT collect:
Bathroom suites Bags of rubbish
Cardboard boxes Radiators
Uncovered mattresses Kitchen units
Flooring Tiling
Wood Doors - external or internal
However, these items can be taken to your nearest Amenity site and will be accepted free of charge.
